So I do have much more to tell about my trip. Things like 3 kings day, the carnival ride I should be on right now, I might have gotten ripped off but I'm not sure, the brightest stars I've ever seen... and many more.
But at the moment I'd just like to say that I started new Spanish classes on Monday. I'm actually taking classroom Spanish and I'm pretty sure it's an idea I should have had 7 months ago. Maybe it would have helped to prevent my current situation, maybe not but man would that have been a great idea. I've only had one class so far but I like it. It's nice to be forcing myself to put my brain to good use instead of rushing through my online stuff like I think I've been doing for some time.
School was always like a break from reality when I was in my last two or so years of college. It was like a few hours where the only thing that mattered was whatever topic we happened to be talking about. I think Spanish is going to be like that for me now. I get like an hour and a half to two hours a week to just focus on the language and not worry about anything else. It has also made me think that maybe moving to Mexico and teaching English wouldn't be a bad idea.
Maybe I can find some small school type setting like what they do here for Spanish to teach English in. I'm sure the pay would suck but it would be kind of fun maybe to share my knowledge of my language with people who are eager to learn it.
In any event I'm sure I'll be speaking much more much sooner since I'm now doubling up on my lesson amount and I have a sure fire plan to increase my learning speed.
I don't know why I felt this was important but the last few days I feel like I've got less to share with the world and those few things I do have to share, I don't have anyone to share them with.
